When highly engaged workers learn, high performance will follow

Highly engaged workers

Great to be invited by Jacob Kajavala and his team at KFL in Kawerau this week to spend time with a bunch of highly engaged workers in the log processing yard. Learning about customer value and waste, continuous improvement techniques and how to become the All Blacks of stem processing. And getting some good kai in too, tu meke!

Thanks everyone, great day with great people.

What is the most important thing?
It is people
It is people
It is people

Productivity People is unique in our focus to engage with your team to ensure you own the transformation to improve well beyond our engagement. We put your people at the heart of your business improvement systems.

A productivity Growth workshop uses a business simulation to demonstrate how Continuous Improvement / Lean practices can reduce costs and drive performance in any business, using industry examples that are relevant to today’s participants. The simulation will take you through the “simulated” implementation of several Lean Improvements, including 5S, Visual Management and Kanban. After each improvement round, your team will measure the financial benefit of their increase in productivity.

So far, all participating teams have run at a loss in their first round and have managed to make significant profits in their last.

If you recognise any of these problems within your organisation, this workshop is relevant for you and your team:

  • Can’t keep up with sales
  • Constant plan changes
  • Long delivery times
  • Quality issues
  • Rework
  • Misaligned team

Please contact Liddy Bakker or Geerten Lengkeek if you like to organise an in-house workshop for your team.
