Nick Brownsword has an extensive background as a productivity consultant in manufacturing and other operational settings.
Nick’s strategic understanding and direct approach enable him to gain buy-in at a Leadership level. He enables clients to develop an understanding of the need for change and engages senior management in the leadership of their change program.
During Nick’s 25+ years’ of business improvement consulting for large New Zealand and global clients, he has improved performance for Fonterra, Unilever, Ballance Agri-Nutrients, Cedenco Foods, Heinz Watties, Betacraft, Incitec Pivot, Dyna Nobel, Tranz Rail, and MSD. Some projects span over several years, which has given him a unique experience and insight into what it takes to deliver, grow and maintain a successful improvement program in a complex and multifaceted organization through contrasting business cycles.
Nick Brownsword has comprehensive knowledge and experience in TPM and Lean practices which earned him certification as a consultant for the TRACC methodology as well as Six Sigma master black belt accreditation.
