Productivity People proud to sponsor 2021 Business Leadership Award

2021 Business Leadership Award

It is time to shine for Eastern Bay of Plenty businesses that have relentlessly pursued excellence, and Productivity People is proud to sponsor the 2021 Business Leadership Award.

Eastern Bay Chamber of Commerce General Manager Lucy Devany is excited to announce the launch of the Horizon Energy Group 2021Business Excellence Awards: “Covid-19 meant that businesses are well overdue a celebration. Entering the Awards allows you to tell your business story to the community. You will get to celebrate what you do well, identify areas to improve and discover opportunities for continued development”.

Productivity People’s co-directors Liddy Bakker and Geerten Lengkeek believe the 2021 Business Leadership Award is a great way to recognise individuals who have created the environment in their organisations for their teams to be successful. “As a nationwide consulting firm with clients from Waipapa to Awarua and with offices in Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington, and Christchurch, we are particularly proud of our Eastern Bay roots and our main office on the Strand in Whakatane. Sponsoring these awards is a natural extension of that”, says Liddy.

While many regions have suffered from the economic impact of Covid-19, the Eastern Bay of Plenty has been remarkably resilient. Horizon Energy Group CEO Ajay Anand says, “As a nation, as we continue to address the challenges posed by Covid-19, it is increasingly important that businesses continue to innovate and ensure that their respective business model is able to react and respond to the unprecedented changes that we are likely to face for some time. I am increasingly amazed at the number of businesses we have in the Eastern Bay of Plenty that punch above their weight and I would encourage all of you to submit your entry, such that we can all celebrate your success.”
